Contribution from NCP Client
1. Please be courteous towards others. This includes helping others who need help, holding the door open for people, giving everyone a chance to speak, listening to them calmly and responding with respect.
2. Manners, courtesy, and respect for each other will make your life and that of others better. Greet everyone with a smile and good morning, good afternoon and good evening.
3. Help yourself and your society by taking care of the environment. When you go shopping for groceries, be courteous and if there is something that you pick up from the shelf and later decide that you don’t need it, please put it back or give it to a staff member. This will help to keep the cost of living lower for everyone.
4. Try to be happy every day. Try to find at least one thing every day that makes you happy. Every day we see daylight, we are rich.
5. The best person in your country is a teacher. Respect your teachers. Everyone learns from a teacher no matter what their profession.
6. Treat the environment like we treat our own home. Treat other people like you would want to be treated.
7. When you see a sign, follow it, it is for your own safety.
8. The government is the people of the country. If we don’t pay tax, the country cannot run. Canada is a very clean country and we should keep it that way.
9. Canada is our country and we have to respect this country by being loyal and honest.
10. To love Canada is to take care of Canada. We should have love and respect for one another and take a lesson from the animal kingdom where animals respect their territory and follow the rules to take of themselves and their children.

Are You Rady for the Summer ?
The weather is starting to warm up, and this means that
summer is soon upon us! Ontario is an
amazing province filled with numerous festivities, parks, and fun activities to
do with the family, no matter where you live. In Mississauga, Toronto, and
Brampton, there are a few fun activities to look out for during the spring/summer season.
Here are some ideas of some ways you can enjoy your summer this year:
If you have any children who have been wanting the
opportunity to express their creativity, this festival would be perfect for
them! The Arts for Life Children’s Festival occurs on April 29 – May 1, 2016 which falls on a weekend. This festival
will be in Mississauga and will be filled with entertainment, dance and visual
arts activities, theatre performances and more!
You can attend this food festival which will take place on
May 21 – May 22, 2016. The event will be held at the International
Centre in Toronto, and will be celebrating
diversity by showcasing the best halal restaurants, speciality foods, and
bakeries. The festival will consist of entertainment, a food market to get some
shopping done, a play place for the kids and over 100 different exhibitors who
will be offering halal food.
Every year during the summer, Toronto hosts its largest
annual fair for 18 days (from August 19 to September 2016). The CNE
is an amusement park for the whole family to enjoy together as it includes fun
rides, live entertainment, food, shopping, special events and much more. We often have tickets available for sale at NCP so
please come ask us about tickets at a special group rate closer to the
date!
